Brian Dunkleman Wasn't Available: Host Adrianna Costa

Okay, Adrianna Costa, the host, is the WORST! She can't seem to read simple sentences, and she has absolutely no sense of presence or drama. The results show was really painful. As much as Ryan Seacrest annoys me, he, at least, can do the "almost give result, but throw to commerical" fakeout in a relatively smooth format. This woman is tripping all over herself. Can we vote her off?

So, this episode was an improvement, for sure. I was completely blown away by the special effects kid's work on the stopping time piece. THAT is how you do a 2.5 minute commercial film (not that anyone would even think to make a 2.5 minute commercial film, since no one would buy it, no festival would play it, and YouTube wouldn't give a damn). However, the very first one they showed was sickeningly indie. I like independent film, but there's a difference between quality and cliche, and that fell way into the latter.

And "Beatiful cinematography" is the new "we got a hot one here tonight!" Please, learn some new phrases. And Ratner: go shoot yourself with Marcel 2's gun for the next episode. You were introduced as the director of "Rush Hour 3". That is not a career high point or something to be proud of.

Viva Italia! We learn the origin of super secret non-English as first language contestant with blond dreadlocks, and she's a complete control freak. Terrific.

And, add me to the list of people who know people on the show. I was in a few classes with NYU "I thought you said you were a director" Girl, and color me surprised that her vault sequence didn't look like shit.
