The Office Fanfic: Some People Like These

Some fanfic discussion has been creeping up in other threads, so I thought we should get a thread started solely for fanfic.

I'll start off with two recommendations:

When All is Said and Done

Distance

Both of these are extremely well written and moving JAM stories. The last sentence of both of them really gets to me.

Jim & Pam: 27 Seconds of Silence

(If you guys want to replace "Jim & Pam" with "Jam", that's fine by me. It did take me forever to find the number of seconds for that part of the title, though, I thought that - "27 Seconds" - was perfect)

I noticed early on the subtlety of this star-crossed friendship's longing side. I liked that, but am really enjoying how it's getting bigger - and still being done subtly (noting Pam's quiet wish for a Valentines Day something from Jim while wanting one desperately from Roy). This show's approach seems different from the now-typical romantic tension cliche on TV shows, and that's good.

Thanks to Glark we have a new thread for The Office (US)!

Recently on USA Today:

http://www.usatoday.com/life/television/ne...lots-main_x.htm

Although the article is about a bunch of new pilots, it has a shot of what I believe is the cast of the American NBC The Office.

Hopefully this show will avoid being dipped in the NBC vat of piping hot suckage.

The Office in the Media: Dunder Mifflin Newsletter

I thought there was a definite shout-out in one of the four Arrested Development episodes tonight where Michael enters his office and one of the employees is limping out with a foot injury. Then he goes over to a whiteboard and erases "Days without a workplace-related injury: 27" to write "1". (Very much paraphrased since I'm still reeling from that marathon).

But yes, this thread is for all instances of The Office in the media.
