My top 2 picks are Kevin and Bryan in this order. They are both sweethearts and really talented. I don't really care about Jennifer or Mike V. Jennifer easily loses her cool, and I don't care for rewarding Mike V. for being an ass, and furthermore, I don't think he can cook as well as Kevin, even on his days off.

I hope Kevin gets it all because he is the brightest and most talented TC contestant I've ever seen since season one. He is the one. (Matrix quote) He is way better than Harold (my most favorite contestant). Go, Kevin!

When an elderly man defends his shop from an armed robbery, Detectives Kevin Bernard (Anthony Anderson) and Cyrus Lupo (Jeremy Sisto) suspect that this incident could have been an inside job. After further investigation, the detectives discover that the mugging might have been a scare tactic for a shakedown. Also starring: S. Epatha Merkerson (Lieutenant Anita Van Buren), Sam Waterston (District Attorney Jack McCoy), Alana De La Garza (Connie Rubirosa), and Linus Roache (Michael Cutter).

Gould was good, but this episode tried to do too much. Jason Jones's appearance from last season was fun, but this time he was wedged into the episode in a rather clumsy fashion. They can't all be winners.

Also, was there any particular reason that Connie & Cutter randomly switched spots in the middle of Gould's cross examination? That was weird.

What a difference a few months and a broken engagement from Maks makes. A few months ago every magazine story, utterance and pap pic or pap footage taken at the Ivy, nightclub, mini-golf course and hair salon; were deemed famewhorish and whoring for publicity, now "she is helping to publicize her buddy's business".

The irony is quite delicious.

Holy cow. We ate at the French Laundry! It was years ago and we were touring Napa- my husband was just developing his interest in wines- and I remember how hot it was, and how tired we were from touring wineries (they didn't sell bottled water there. Amazing. You could tour all the wineries, and they all had tastings, and none of them stopped to think that perhaps if they sold bottled water in their shops, it might be profitable. I got SO THIRSTY. And there were fast food places with winegardens, so you could order wine and eat outside in a fenced area where no kids were allowed.) and we happened across the Laundry, and just went in for late lunch/early dinner- it was very empty. It was 2000. I remember I bought the French Laundry cookbooks as a souvenir, but I didn't really get into cooking until a couple of years ago, and with all the talk about Keller and the French Laundry, it triggered a memory, and I went and found the cookbook and looked up the French Laundry online, and dammit, we ate there. Now I wish I could remember what we ate! I chiefly remember being hot and tired, and the hummingbirds around the place. Damn.

I also have to wonder how much Laura's disdain and hatred of Shambo stems from her lesbianism? I don't know if she has come out to anyone but even if she hasn't, she strikes me as the type to inadvertently reveal it in conversations to others (or others have picked up on it). Laura strikes me as the type of Christian that would hate gay people (and give most other Christians a bad name).

I'm not sure if it's funny or sad that you, and several others here who have said the same thing, have nothing to base this on but your intolerance towards Christians.

People are allowed to dislike Mya, just as they're allowed to dislike Donny, Joanna, Tom DeLay, Aaron, or anyone else who's competed this year. It doesn't always mean they're only seeing what they want to see (which, arguably, could also apply to fans). Doesn't everyone have people they just don't care for? It's human nature. Having a difference of opinion is not always a bad thing.
